This tour offers an exclusive experience—no waiting in lines or making reservations. As you indulge in delicious bites, you’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the passionate business owners, restaurateurs, and soda makers who are shaping Galena's vibrant food and beverage scene. Get ready to eat, explore, and savor the flavors of history on this unforgettable tour!

  • Part Honey/Bee Education.

    Embark on a fascinating journey into the world of honey! During this immersive tasting experience, you'll discover how bees craft honey and explore a range of honey profiles—from light to medium to dark. Using a honey flavor wheel and color chart, you'll engage your senses to identify the unique aromas, colors, and flavors of each sample. As you taste, you'll record your impressions, and together we’ll compare and discuss your findings. Plus, enjoy a diverse array of textures, including creamed, crystallized, and honey straight from the comb. It’s an unforgettable exploration of nature’s sweetest creations!

  • Part Wine Tasting.

    Discover the true essence of wine country with an unforgettable tasting experience! Savor a glass of expertly paired Honey Mead, guided by our knowledgeable hosts who will teach you the proper wine-tasting techniques. Learn how the honey perfectly complements the mead’s flavors, and enjoy additional surprise tastings throughout the tour. It’s the perfect way to indulge your senses and deepen your appreciation for wine.

When: The last Saturday of every month with some exceptions.

Time: Tours run 10am-12:30pm

Cost: $75 per person.

What’s Included: All food and beverage tastings, alcoholic tastings or non-alcoholic substitutes, custom lanyard, three(3) tasting locations, honey tasting experience, glass of Honey Mead, local Bee guide and local Foodie guide. Plus, a beautiful stroll through one of the best small towns in America.

Who: Anyone ages 6 and up.

Capacity: We limit 15 people per tour or more for private events.

Wear: Wear whatever makes you comfortable! Please dress accordingly based on the time of year and weather.

Weather: We operate rain, shine or snow.

They are a family-owned agritourism business located in Galena Country that offers beekeeping tours, educational experiences, honey tastings, honey sales, pollination services, and mentoring for those interested in starting or advancing in their beekeeping journey.  Their beekeeping tours provide an opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of bees and their role in our ecosystem. Their educational beekeeping experiences are tailored to anyone ages 6 and up and offer a hands-on approach to learning about bees, honey, and beekeeping.
